Patients of all ages can now benefit from orthodontic treatment, and we’ll tailor your treatment plan to fit your aims and lifestyle.
We’re lucky to have Farah Padhani and Othman Hameed as our specialist orthodontists. Both are experts in their field and able to treat both adults and children and is able to offer both traditional braces and clear aligner treatments.
Our dentists Saagar Patel and Meera Patel are also delighted to offer Invisalign® treatments to help discreetly straighten your smile.
Can Orthodontics Help Me?
Using appliances such as fixed ‘train tracks’, clear aligners like Invisalign® or removable appliances, we can:
- Close spaces – between teeth to close any gaps.
- Fix crowded teeth – where teeth are overlapping because there isn’t enough space.
- Tilt teeth – to correct the space between your upper and lower front teeth if you have an overjet.
- Move displaced teeth – so out-of-place teeth are less prominent.
- Level your teeth – so the edges of your teeth are straight.
- Correct your bite – to make sure your teeth meet evenly everywhere so you can eat more comfortably.

Do I Need to See a Specialist Orthodontist?
At Dentistry100 we are lucky to have two orthodontists on our team. Both spend time during their week teaching in the orthodontic departments within London hospitals, and Othman Hameed is a consultant orthodontist, one of very few in his position in the UK.
As such, both are able to use their knowledge and years of experience to achieve the best result possible in a range of situations, and give longer-lasting, more stable results.
They are also able to provide orthodontics for younger and teenage patients, and have the expertise to inform you when is the best time for treatment, if needed.
For a more comprehensive solution it is nearly always better to have specialist-led orthodontics. However, for simpler movements, focusing on straightening the front teeth only, then our dentists Meera and Saagar can provide Invisalign® Go aligners. These are often quicker and have a lower overall fee.
If you’re not sure which solution is best for you then reach out and we can talk you through the options, including the choice to see a dentist first to assess your situation.
FAQs
What is the difference between Invisalign Go and Invisalign Comprehensive?
Invisalign Go is designed for straightforward cases involving mild to moderate crowding or spacing of the front teeth, with treatment typically completed in three to six months. Invisalign Comprehensive covers a broader range of tooth movements and is used for more complex cases, with treatment typically lasting twelve to twenty-four months. Both use the same clear aligner technology. At Dentistry100, we will assess your teeth and advise you on which level of treatment is appropriate during your consultation.
Can children under 13 years have orthodontic treatment such as braces or Invisalign?
Sometimes early intervention orthodontics or ‘interceptive’ orthodontics can minimise, or even avoid braces or aligners at a later age. This could be with clear aligners like Invisalign, fixed braces, or removable palatal expander devices. If you have noticed that your child has some bite/alignment issues at an early age then our specialist orthodontists, Farah Padhani, or our consultant orthodontist, Oz Hameed, can discuss your options during a consultation.
Can my child have orthodontic treatment at Dentistry100 if they attend boarding school, or have a busy school schedule?
Our orthodontists are available during school holidays and for early appointments during the week. Treatment with Invisalign or braces often means that reviews can be scheduled during school holidays or weekends at home to avoid having to take time out from activities.
Can I combine Invisalign or orthodontics with other treatments like bondings or implants?
At Dentistry100 we also have cosmetic dentists, a tooth wear expert, a gum specialist (periodontist) and implant dentist who work alongside our orthodontist, Oz Hameed, and invisalign dentists.
This means that at Dentistry100 your dental treatment can be combined under one roof, so we can take the stress out of your dental care and make your sure your visits are as convenient as possible. We have treated lots of patients who have needed bondings or implants after orthodontics to replace missing teeth, rebuild worn down teeth or improve the shape of the teeth after straightening them.
How long does Invisalign treatment take?
Most adult Invisalign cases take between 4 and 12 months, depending on the extent of movement needed. At Dentistry100 you’ll receive a personalised timeline at your consultation.
Do you treat complex orthodontic cases or refer elsewhere?
At Dentistry100 we treat complex cases in-house. Our consultant orthodontist, Othman Hameed, and specialist orthodontist, Farah Padhani, see both adults and children for complex bite issues, so we have many patients who are referred to us from the Barbican, Farringdon, Islington and wider London community.
How much does Invisalign cost at Dentistry100?
Invisalign pricing depends on the complexity and length of treatment, assessed at your consultation. Every plan includes complimentary whitening and retainers as standard, so there are no unexpected extras once your aligners are complete.
Is Invisalign available for children as well as adults?
At Dentistry100, we are able to offer Invisalign and clear aligners to both adults and children of all ages.
Our Invisalign service with our dentists Saagar and Meera is designed for adult patients with cosmetic concerns about the alignment of their teeth.
For children and teenagers, or for adults with more complex bite issues, our consultant orthodontist, Othman Hameed, provides specialist assessment and a wider range of treatment options.
I have been told than I can only straighten my teeth with fixed braces. Can Invisalign treat complex bite issues?
Although some packages of Invisalign, such as ‘Invisalign Go’ focus on aligning your front teeth rather than fixing any underlying bite issues, clear aligners can now be provided for most patients, even with more complex treatment needs. This is where our planning process with our consultant orthodontist, Oz Hameed, after your initial consultation is important to investigate all possible options to give you the best results.
What are the benefits of straightening my teeth?
Benefits of having orthodontic treatment can include:
– Making cleaning and flossing easier and improve gum health
– Correcting your bite so front and back teeth meet evenly to make chewing easier
– Reducing the chance of damaging any prominent teeth
– Improving the appearance of your smile and face
What happens after Invisalign or orthodontics?
Once we know that your teeth are in their best and stable position then we can consider if you’re happy with the colour and shape of your teeth, and replace any missing teeth if appropriate. Many patients brighten their teeth using our home whitening system, and we can recontour the teeth with composite bondings.
Once we’re happy with your smile then we need to keep the teeth in their new position using clear retainers. These often need to be worn full time for a few months before we can drop to night time use. Retainers need to be worn regularly during some evenings for life if you want to keep the teeth in their new position.
At Dentistry100 our orthodontic treatment plans include teeth whitening and retainers so there are no unexpected extras!
